Book of regulations for the work
of the International Fine arts colony Konopiste
Article 1
The organizer of the Konopiste fine arts colony is the
Youth Council of Kavadarci and Renoir Gallery from Skopje.
Article 2
The International Konopiste fine arts colony is organized
every year in the period from June till August. The
organizer determines the exact days of the colony.
Article 3
Participants could be only academic educated artists.
Article 4
The participants of the colony, besides the personal
supplies, are obliged to have brushes and other materials
for work.
Article 5
The organizer of the colony provides colours, ( oil,
watercolour, acrylic) canvases, turpentine, linseed
oil, paper, cardboards and other materials if there
is a previous agreement with the artist.
Article 6
The organizer provides food and settlement in the childrens
holiday centre Mihajlovo in the Kozuf mountain,
on the 1200 metres height above sea level.
Article 7
The organizer of the colony pays the travel expenses
to the invited artists according to the price of the
bus ticket.
Article 8
To the participants from the other countries, the organizer
pays the travel expenses from the Macedonian border
or from the macedonian airports to the place of the
colony.
Article 9
Each author gets at least three canvases and he is obliged
to paint at least two of them for the colony. If some
of the participants want and are able to paint more
canvases, in accordance with the organizer, they will
get them, but 2/3 of the canvases stay in the property
of the colony.
Article 10
Also, if some of the authors paints or draws something
on paper, cardboard or other material given from the
organizer of the colony, 2/3 of those works stay in
the property of the colony.
Article 11
Each participant should bring materials from the personal
exhibitional and creative activity, and should give
to the organizer his short biography, in order to prepare
the catalogue and card file.
Article 12
The organizer in the accordance with the participants
could organize sightseeing of the mountains and the
villages. If there is an interest about this, the organizer
will do the above mentioned.
Article 13
From the created works of the colony, the organizer
organizes exhibitions through the towns in Macedonia,
and in abroad if there are finances for that.
Article 14
The financing of the colony is expected to be on the
part of the Ministry of Culture and sponsors, and in
return they will get part of the works depending on
the sponsorship.
Article 15
The painted works are in the property of the Youth Council
of Kavadarci and Renoir Gallery from Skopje, in which
part is the Konopiste fine arts colony.
Article 16
For the eventual sale or auction of the created works
from the art colony, decides the art council of the
colony together with the Renoir Gallery and the director
of the colony.
Article 17
For all the needs during the colony, if the participants
need some help or materials, should contact only to
the director or to the coordinator of the colony.
